Local arrangements move forward
The executive agreed to progress parish proposals for Guildford, Englefield Green and the Windlesham area, with legal steps to follow. It also approved establishing charter trustees in Woking, Spelthorne and Surrey Heath to preserve civic traditions, including mayoralties. The intended start is April 2027.
What residents should look for
